Commissioned Sculpture – giving form to people’s stories

My work became more varied and individual as I moved from Historic Reconstruction to Memorial Art. Initially traditional headstones for public cemeteries but increasingly private sculptures, commissioned in memory of a specific loved one.
These artworks are designed to be kept by my clients close at hand, with them at home. I very much enjoy such personal commissions – to translate stories about a person’s life into a tangible, meaningful works-of-art.

I have also created several public art sculptures for schools and hospitals.
