Tuition: Stone Carving Workshops

Three-day residential courses  in stone carving.

The group workshops are suitable for beginners and people keen to extend their existing skills.

During the course you will:

• Learn safe working procedures
• Develop confident carving and design skills
• Express your ideas in three-dimensions, producing a piece of work to take home
• Be given guidance on where to find materials and professional tools
• Be advised on how you can further develop your skills

Group sizes are limited to eight. This means that the course can be adapted according to your needs, and there is ample opportunity for personal guidance.

Tuition is from Friday morning to Sunday afternoon, in the grounds of Uppingham School. Board and accommodation is provided for three nights at the nearby Falcon Hotel or the Garden Hotel.
