Historical Reconstruction: Anne Boleyn 'The Moost Happi' Portrait Medal

A restored copy of the only surviving undisputed portrait of Anne Boleyn, which was made during her lifetime.

Known as 'The Moost Happi' medal, because of it's inscription, the original is kept in the British Museum.

The lead prototype was modelled in 1534 when Anne Boleyn was believed to be pregnant with a male heir.  However she failed to deliever a son and no copies of the commemorative medal were issued.

The second of Henry V111's six wives, Anne was beheaded in 1536 at the Tower of London, by order of her husband.
